I guess I wasn't really paying attention when I ordered my basket Herb Gathering Basket. I just liked the look of it and it seemed the right size for what I wanted it for gathering herbs of courseand the price was right. I didn't really put that much thought into where the basket was coming from or how it was made. You can't imagine my surprise when I got your email saying you received my order and were working on my basket. I had NO idea these baskets were hand woven to order - like I said, I clearly wasn't reading anyting on the site - just clicking the pictures. I suppose I was imgaining a drop ship operation out of China or Taiwan. I was thrilled to be getting a work from an actual artist not a factory. And then I got the basket. I am not a basket afficionado or collecter or anything so I only buy baskets based on the practicality of use, but I have to say that this is one the most beautiful baskets I've ever seen - completely charming. I thought the price was great when I thought it was coming from some foreign mass production factory - now I feel like I stole it! I will definately buy more baskets from you! Who knows - I may buy one just because it's beautiful even if it's not practical. Thank you so much - you are true artist. |
